  4. We give back to the community in the form of pet rescues.  Better to light a candle than curse the darkness.
What is Ayurveda?
Considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science, Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health that is designed to help people live long, healthy, and well-balanced lives. The term Ayurveda is taken from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning life or lifespan, and veda, meaning knowledge. It has been practiced in India for at least 5,000 years.
Neem…what's Neem?
Azadirachta indica (Neem) is a tree in the mahogany family that is native to India - Kramer's Salve uses 100% all-natural neem oil, from sustainable sources.  Each batch is  free of pesticide residues, and heavy metals.
Neem oil has been used as a topical for thousand of years in India, and there are oral traditions of use on domestic (and sometime wild) animals to heal skin irritations.

It’s the result of years of painstaking research and sometimes desperation to find a healing modality for Kramer's skin allergies. Drawn on our cultural background, it has the right concentration of neem to heal without causing irritation. Quality Neem is expensive but we are committed to high production standards.
Is Kramer's Salve™ a substitute for vet care?
No not at all. Vet care is a necessity, and Kramer's Salve is not a substitute for common sense or competent vet care. But it’s a vital part of long term management of skin allergies in dogs, it can minimize the need for steroids (which only help temporarily) and reduce the need for constant vet visits. But in keeping with its Ayurvedic roots, it's part of a holistic approach to allergies.  Diet will need to be examined and in most cases changed (see blog for more info) and care taken to stabilize overall immunity.
